I concur with the previous commentators…truly you were walking on eggshells. In fact, the outcome of the experiment, or the object lesson, demonstrated quite well the meaning of the phrase “walking on eggshells”. Graduate school must be extraordinarily grateful for your glowing presence!

You know what part of me still thinks this can be done, even though I do agree that you did “technically” walk on eggshells, and even put a good illustration with that saying. But still, I believe that it’s possible to reappraoch this idea from a different angle and have a better out come. I’ve yet to think of that angle, but when I do I’ll let you know! You’re quite brilliant. I miss you Carmen!
