Tray Sliding!

My friends, Jana and Jane, went with me to slide down the hill behind Central Market on the trays from the cafe. Our professor had tipped us off that her sons love to do it, so we were itching to give it a try! It started off a bit rocky, but we felt inclined to continue. We found the perfect location, and it was all downhill from there.

I always have been fascinated about the multiple uses of caf trays AND what can be loaded on them. Sounds as if it could be a research study in the making!
This would not happen in Houston, the humidity of the ambient air would cause the tray to stick on the grass! Yea, Austin!!

Yee HA! Who says you can’t go dashing down the hill in the summer?!?!?!?! By the way, here’s a variation for you to try on a reeeeeeeeeealy hot day sometime — get a block of ice (in lieu of the tray) and go slicing! We tried it on the St. Olaf Hill and had a blast — and kept cool!
