Is the Chef okay?!?!?!?
I have tried this recipe before and I can attest to its deliciousness. Simple, true. But, also healthful and fun! Thank you, Carmen, for the lesson!

Seriously! Butter and jelly is so good. It’s what I always eat on my toast and bagels. Megan, you’re the weird one.

OH, NO SHE DI’INT…
Kat, there are many things upon which you can issue your superior judgment: beauty, authenticity, sanity…
But, lay off the food discernment, hon. That’s not your turf.

Kat’s right on this one. Megan, maybe think of it this way…Kathleen has such a refined palette, so if she likes butter and jam, it HAS to be good!

Megan, what do YOU eat on toast? I always had butter and jam. Yummy! By the way, I was going to leave an entirely different comment until I read the ones already left!

I am in the butter/jam fam, and would add that butter/honey, butter and just about anything else is a fine duet.
The toaster ROCKS…where can I get an accessory like that for my newly remodeled kitchen??
Here’s a hug.. (( ))

Megan, my sweet friend, you are wrong. Carmen not only knows gourmet food but also her 60’s music. Enjoy. http://youtube.com/watch?v=x6vjaf_oSuw

I think the toaster is from some place on the drag. I’m gonna have to check out the remodelled kitchen, Becky. Sorry I’ve been out of touch!
Bill, that song’s great. I think I’ll have to play that in the morning as I make breakfast. ![]()
Okay, Megan, where you at? What do you eat on toast? I know you don’t give in that easily!

Ok, ok, ok… This has gone on long enough.
MF– I like bread and butter. I like toast and jam. I’m just not a fan of the combination of butter and jam.
Now, it is true that I don’t give in easily. And I am finding this really difficult. I have been lying awake at night, worrying about what I should do. After all, I am clearly outnumbered. Should I stand for my convictions, or give in to the masses? It’s a real crossroads situation for me. I’m having 2004 presidential election flashbacks. You remember? When I was totally right, but outnumbered in Texas. I stood by my convictions. The country outnumbered me. But, still. I was totally right.
However, I do believe that this dilemma might be qualitatively different. I stress the “might” here.
So, this morning: I will bravely walk into my kitchen. I will toast some bread. I will apply some butter. I will then apply a coat of jam.
And I will let you know the results.
Wish me luck.
This might be the most annoying comment anyone has ever left on any blog. Ever.

To be a good lenient being is to from a make of openness to the mankind, an cleverness to trust undeterminable things beyond your own control, that can take you to be shattered in unequivocally exceptionally circumstances as which you were not to blame. That says something exceedingly outstanding relating to the fettle of the honest autobiography: that it is based on a trust in the unpredictable and on a willingness to be exposed; it’s based on being more like a spy than like a sparkler, something kind of fragile, but whose mere precise attractiveness is inseparable from that fragility.
